Highway 30
To truly experience riding in Oregon, you simply cannot miss Highway 30. Winding up the cliffs of the Columbia River Gorge, it is one of the most scenic roads in the United States. The section of Highway 30 we filmed starts in Moiser and ends 14 miles later in The Dalles.

For sportbikers, Highway 30 offers up a little bit of everything. It starts with 35 - 45mph sweepers; winding through orchards and farmland to Rowena Crest. As you reach the Crest, an amazing, panoramic view of the Gorge greets your eyes.

Heading down, be steady on the throttle and brakes as it is nothing but tight switchbacks and 300 degree hairpins. And when you reach the bottom, turn around and head back up to the Crest to get a glimpse of Mt. Adams or Mt. Hood.

Twrex is going to show you how it's done on her 2004 GSXR 750. An ex-racer and avid street rider, she defines smooth. So sit back, crank up your speakers, and enjoy the trailer!

Please Note:
This road is a well known bicycling and tourist route. If deciding to venture to Highway 30, please be courteous of other vehicles and always ride within your limits. Just like any road, hazards abound and conditions change continuously. Use your best judgement.
