Lines n. A geometric figure formed by a point moving along a fixed direction and the reverse direction.

Racers choose them on the track for the best lap-time, street riders select them when railing through a twisty section of asphalt. Riders discuss good lines and bad lines, which line is fastest through a corner, and which line allows the smoothest transition from one corner to the next.

Our movie, Lines, reflects the desire to show the modern sportbike and rider skillfully negotiate some of the best roads in the Pacific Northwest. These machines were designed and built for the purpose of navigating twisties, providing unlimited enjoyment for those that respect and understand the power in their control.

The project started with a few guys from www.sportbikes.ws. Phlewidity, liv2day, Twist, FramerPDX, and DrSard decided to make a video of highway 53 in western Oregon. We met early one Saturday in August ‘03 and proceeded to film what would become episode one of Lines.

Basically the brainchild of Phlewidity, Lines combines a love of sportbikes with digital video. It’s our attempt to capture the essence of riding a sportbike, the ballet of traversing twisties, and the true intent behind the design of these phenomenal machines. Ever evolving, our project will continue to highlight Real Riders, Real Bikes, & and Real Roads!

You’ll get to know the rider and his or her sportbike. You’ll gain an unbelievable perspective of the road we’re filming. And most importantly, you’ll come to understand the passion we have for this sport and the roads near our homes.

People who love to ride are making these movies. We understand the need to ride within our limits and we only promote safe riding with the appropriate gear. The current light cast on sportbikes and riders is anything but positive; our hope is to help change this by showing responsible riding on public roads and highways.

Join us for our adventure! The trailer for Episode II has been posted, so feel free to download it. Come back to see future episodes, and always ride safely.

Real Riders, Real Bikes, Real Roads!
